The Mortgage Capital Group was founded in Smithtown, New York in 2005, on the fundamental premise of “YES”. Prior to the formation of the group and despite 50 combined years of successful mortgage experience with major banks, we observed a disconcerting rise in the frequency with which the specific products offered by our employers did not offer solutions to our valued customers.
Because “no” is never an option, we set out to combine the integrity and professionalism realized by our respective banking experiences with the unlimited access offered by ALL banks, conduits, and private channels, to provide our clients with exceptional pricing, processing, and funding schedules.
As an entrepreneurial group of experienced lending professionals, our hand-picked team has grown from one to fifteen in size, and our origination levels have exceeded several hundred million dollars in residential and commercial business within 15 months of conception. We have successfully placed land loans, condominium development projects, warehouse projects, multi-use “work/live” buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes and multi-family units in several states. We have commercial outlets in all fifty states and enjoy residential licensed mortgage broker status in NY and Florida. Although we are currently a lean and nimble team, our experience runs deep – our founders have developed and managed organically built mortgage production levels exceeding $2.5 Billion per annum.
In early 2006 we moved our offices to the fashionable Bayport Professional Centre on Long Island’s south shore, so that we can effectively serve our growing family of clients.
